Dr. Gary Zinik is a clinical forensic psychologist specializing in the evaluation and treatment of criminal offenders. In the past 25 years he has performed over 500 risk assessments of sex offenders. He conducts evaluations of Sexually Violent Predators (SVP) in California, Washington State and for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Department of Justice. His office is in Ventura, California, and he is on the Superior Court referral panel in Ventura County. He also evaluates cases for the Ventura County Public Defenders Office, District Attorneys office, Probation Department, and private attorneys.

Psychotherapy sessions are for a 60-minute hour and payment is requested at the end of each session. Call for appointment and fee.
Court Testimony Fees
Court testimony fees are $300 per hour for consultations, preparation time, court testimony, and depositions.
Evaluation fees are billed at a flat rate of $3500 for all services including interviews, record review, consultation, testing, and report writing.
Most psychological evaluations including written report can be completed between 15-20 hours. Payment of a retainer fee is required in advance before beginning work on private evaluations.
